Book Review: Chia Vitality



I wasn't quite sure what to expect from a book about the Chia seed, but having recently added them to my diet I was eager to learn more about this newest trend food.  What I found is that this book is much more then an explanation of Chia Seeds, and is even much more then a 30 day eating plan.  Janie Hoffman has created a lifestyle book with an emphasis on including chia seed in that lifestyle.  

I was relieved to see that Hoffman (who is a self proclaimed chia advocate) was willing to acknowledge that although chia seeds will help a person feel physically better, there needs to be a holistic approach to life to find true balance.  Hoffman works to present a comprehensive guide on taking steps towards living a fuller life. Additionally, and really the main part of the this book is a 30 day eating guide complete with recipes.  Each day has a large amount of variety with no pre-packaged food options.  

If you are looking to add chia seeds to your daily diet, explore a new way of eating or simply learn more about chia seeds nutritional value, this book is a great resource.
