Book Review: Start Here

Normally I do book reviews on Friday's, but this must read couldn't wait a day longer.

Full disclosure, I'm a HUGE Nicole Unice fan, so it would actually take a lot for me to not like here writing.

Start Here is the perfect beginner book for any new believer or seeker.  This book is pocket sized, which makes it the perfect book to carry along with you anywhere.  Each chapter is through is making sure to not only discuss the question at hand, but explain vernacular often used in churches, but foreign to a new believer.  In addition to using other people's personal experiences in discovering a relationship with Christ, the authors speak bluntly about doubts they have personally experienced.

I found this book to be encouraging, honest and complete in covering subjects often discussed with new believers.  Beginning with a clear discussion on seeking relationship with Jesus instead of religion and finishing with where to go from here, the authors cover the subjects of who is God, what does God want me to know and also take great care to identify obstacles all Christians encounter.

Whether you are looking for a resource for a friend who has a lot of questions or your jr. high or older child, this book will give you the basics to confidently answer questions.
