Book Review: Futureville

In Futureville, Jethani's second book the discussion is launched on the subject  "What we believe about tomorrow determines how we live today.  As Christians debate how to faithfully engage with our rapidly changing world, our vision of the future has never been more important."

Jethani does a wonderful job of explaining to the reader where the church as grown from and where it needs to continue to grow.  Breaking open the debate on where we best serve God in our vocation, Jethani does an amazing job of affirming both the lay person and the cleargy, but takes things a step further and helps the reader to understand where the conflict began and how it can end.

If you are struggling with where the church needs to move to our where you personally
need to be investing your time in serving God this book may be a useful tool.

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars, I found it a bit long in the beginning as Jethani laid out the history of where the church has come from.
