Menu

We are in a groove with school now!  We have to be out the door about 45 minutes earlier this year then in the past, so it's been an adjustment.  I've worked up a few breakfast recipes to try to make things go as smooth as possible.

Breakfasts:

Waffles, pre cooked bacon, sausage patties, banana bread pre sliced and frozen, tortillas with peanut butter and apple slices wrapped up.

Lunches:

With a Sam's club near by the boys have been packing lunches.  My sister in law sent me a link for these awhile back and it has made the apple sauce for kiddo #2 a daily additon.  I love it because it is MUCH less expensive then the pre-filled pouches which run about $1 a piece.  Also, I can choose the unsweetened apple sauces to fill them.

Whole Wheat Bagel slims with lunch meat and cheese slices or peanut butter and jelly, mini bags of chips, water bottles and homemade granola bars or peanut butter oat meal bars

I myself have been having soup and salad.

Dinners:

Monday: Caribbean Dump, rice, salad

Tuesday: Bruchetta Chicken Pasta, salad and biscuits

Wednesday: chicken tacos, chips and salsa

Thursday: leftovers

Friday: Homemade Pizza

Saturday: chicken patties, mac and cheese, fruit

Sunday:  leftovers or breakfast
