Candy Cane Syrup

I know, I know, it's April, but I'm STILL getting through recipes I made over our holiday break!!!  This one was a fun edition to hot chocolates.  

All you need is 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, and 6 to 8 candy canes.  Combine until melted.  Store in the fridge.
