Our college has a very unbalanced history. Upon the introduction of football to our tiny town things didn't go as one would have hoped or expected. Several coaches and Athletic Directors later a consultant was brought in who introduced a different way of doing things. That consultant would go on a few years later to become the Head Coach here, and to bring my husband on as an assistant coach. We stand on his shoulders and the foundation he laid down for our program.
I would remiss if I didn't continue this history lesson with telling you that the man who brought my husband here as a coach learned his philosophy from Frosty Westering. Recently this pillar of Biblical Football has taken ill, and a beautiful tribute was written. You can read more here.
