This year our 7 year old has taken a specific interest in what Daddy says to the team. As soon as a whistle blows and Coach says bring it in, there goes E. He often stands right next to Coach, or behind him. He listens to what his dad says, and he asks about it later. He even has begun to think of "strategies" to help the team perform better. I'm not sure if he will be a coach, but one thing is for sure, our team has taken notice. They will often ask for his latest strategies, often even giving him the title coach. They also are gracious enough to let our first born remind them that he really wants them to do their best for his dad...on and off the field.
To me this picture says so much more then I could ever write, and it serves as a reminder, there are always eyes watching.
