Carmel Cake Frosting

This recipe is actually supposed to go on brownies, but my husband prefers vanilla things to chocolate, and since it's his birthday today we made this frosting for the carmel cake Monday.


Melt 1/2 c butter 
1 c brown sugar

Boil over low heat 2 min, stirring constantly. Stir in 1/4 c milk just until it boils. Turn off heat and cool a few minutes. Gradually add 1 3/4-2 c powdered sugar. Beat until smooth.
